F-6 FLATBED RESTORE
NEED A LITTLE HELP PLEASE,
GOT A OLD 1948-50 (NOT TO SURE WHAT YEAR IT IS) F-6 FLATBED AND I WANT TO RESTORE IT. CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT YEARS ARE INTERCHANGABLE AND WILL INTERRIER FORM THE F-100'S ETC. FIT THE CAB OF THE TRUCK. I'M REAL NEW TO THIS AND WOULD BE VERY GREATFUL FOR ANY HELP.

It's my understanding that the cabs are all the same on 48-50 (unless you have a COE), so the F1 interior from 48-50 (and possibly 48-52) should fit your F6. The cabs for the F100s starting in 53 were not the same as the F1s for 48-50. Maybe someone else can verify this to be sure.

Cabs - The cabs are interchangeable from 48-52 F-1 to F-8. But the 51-52 have a different dash and are avalible with the deluxe cab.
Fenders - The 48-50 front fenders are different than the 51-52. The F-7 and F-8 had a wider grill.
Most of the other parts interchange. For suspension parts you would have to get them from a F-4 to F-6. If you post your serial number they could probally give you what year it is. Hope this helps.

The cab and other sheet metal parts are not the same for the '48-50 models and the '51-52. Some items like doors, seats and glass, except rear window, are interchangeable.
