Question Help please - part left after re-assembly

Hello guys (and the occasional gal ),

I have an FMX that has been dissembled for a month or so in my garage. I took it apart to rebuild the clutches and such but was kind of taking my time doing it. Well, I am planning to have to move in a few weeks so I need to get this old truck back into driving shape so I finally finished the rebuild and got everything put back together except..... one little part that is driving me nuts!
I know the simple answer is but the only manual I was able to put my hands on only goes back as far as the C3. And I had the arrogance to assume that I would be able to just remember from the time I took it all apart over a month ago.

Anyway, I was hoping someone here could help me identify and locate the proper location for this single part that is causing me the grief. Here is a picture that has the u-shaped mnetal tube section sitting next to the open case. I have left off the filter and hold down so as to allow for maximum visibility. Can anyone draw an arrow or describe where this u-shaped tube is supposed to go???

Thank you in advance for your help!
Ray

I know what you are talking about I tore one down for tech school about 5 weeks ago but look in between the left and right valve bodies right in the centeral area where all the business goes on. I dont remember exactly if you can leave the valve bodies on to put the piece in or if you have to take it off. But check under the smaller valve body(or regulator assembly) it might be under that for starters.

It should be the rear lub tube that goes under the rear servo. If you remove the rear servo, you should see the empty holes.

Pictures during disassembly! Pictures during disassembly!!! A decent digital camera is best. One that will take MACRO shots (flowers and closeups) is best otherwise the shots will be blurry. I see that type of blurry pic all the time on ebay and they are worthless.

Thanks guys. How come I had a feeling that Eric was going to scold me about taking pictures? OK, so I've already admitted that I was being arrogant in assuming that I would remember all of the part locations and to tell the truth, the fact that I only have one extra part means that I am doing pretty good, right?!? And I thought my photo turned out pretty good considering!

Will go ahead and remove servo valves today and see if I can't find the holes. You guys are referring to the one located on the bottom left of the above photo right?

It's the bottom right servo which is near the extension housing.
