ford started using EFI on the 302 in 1985 so you will need parts from a 1984 or earlyer. Also I built a 302 for my 85 bronco and used an Eldelbrock proformer Intake and 600cfm Carb and they work great.

Not all 302's are the same deck hieght.The mid '70s are different.Sorry can't remember the exact years.A 600 cfm carb is a big carb on a 302.It will bog off the line,but hang on from about 2500 rpm on up.Your valves will start to float before you run out off carb.

One nice thing about the Eldelbrock carb is it has mechanical secondary with vacuum backups to prevent flooding it off the line. My bronco comes off the line just fine but your right 460srule at about 2500 rpm you better hold on
