leveling shock question
Has anyone put the new Rancho or Bilstein leveling shocks on. If so, are they worth getting over a leveling kit. Is the ride better the same or worse Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Just ordered a f150 lariat screw 4x4 and definately want to level it.

Haven't used them but I did look into the bilsteins when I was looking for a leveling kit. I ended up with the autospring kit because the factory ride stayed the same, cost was significantly cheaper, and I could install it myself and not need a spring compression tool. It took me about 2-2.5 hours and like with all front end leveling kits I needed a front end alignment (toe only). Total cost about $130.

Oh yeah, forgot to say I was new to this site. Thanks. The info here has been excellent. I've heard a lot of good things on the autospring. Thought maybe the shocks would be less of a problem when it came to the warranty issues.

What warranty issues? Haven't had a single suspension issue or change to my ride quality with the autospring. As a matter of fact the bilstein's or rancho's are changes to the factory suspension along the same lines as a autospring spacer and would have similar consequences (denial of claim) to a suspension warranty problem.
