Hazard lights not working

Hazard lights, (4 way flashers), quit working. Usually I replace with a new relay, & it takes care of it. This time it still doesn't work. It clicks once then stops. This has been an on going problem. Replaced the multifunction switch afew years ago. Turn signals work OK, except sometimes only one side works and the other is real dim and seems to dim the lights when it tries to flash. 5 minutes later all is OK with turnsignals. Traced wiring in frame, found nothing. Anyone with any ideas or had a similar problem ??

It's either a bad bulb socket or the flasher switch is bad again.

I'll try a new turn signal/multifunction switch and let you know.
