hey guys, i just got my AIH delete plug with boost fitting, it was shipped with a wite i guess to bypas AIH heater, but no instructions where this wire goes, ? damn it, can anyone help here, i got it from Puredieselpower,,,,
where this wire goes?. i think i know, but i want to make sure
ideas?
Pete, I got the AIH Delete with the boost fitting. I just removed all the wires from the AIH to the solonoid. No problems. Install the AIH Delete and boost fitting then done.
I didn't get any wires with the one I got. Is the ground wire that was on there supposed to be regrounded somewhere? I haven't thrown code yet. It's been in there for quite a while now.
amiller i did get that wire with it, it has a resistor or somthing in it, if its resistor, it wont matter which way it goes in, but one of the ends on it its to small to put it on tha ground, so ill have to put the bigger one, it will go from the solenoid wher the + from the AIH went -to the ground spot on the block, am i right?
i didnt see any codes yet,,,,,
thanks again guys
and one more thing , i just finish installing my 5" pipes, and boy this thing its loud and my boost before was going to like 14 maybe 15, now when i punch it it reaches 20 or more, and its a insain truck , this really complements the DpTuner chip that i got
Yes, welcome to the cannon club. It's going to be hard trying to see if you get better fuel economy. Go ahead and shut off the radio. Probably not going to listen to it for a while. As for the AIH plug, I just disconnected the wires and was done with it.
yes i noticed that my radio is not playing toons that i like anymore, that toon outside my truck sounds better, much better id say,
and i know ill suffer fuel economy, but you know what....... you live once so you have to enjoy it while it lasts
cause one day it will all be over,
