You need everything from the balljoints out to do that, as well as the calipers, brake lines, and proportioning valve and probalby the master cylinder booster etc. Best bet is to find a truck that has them and grab the front axle and everything related to the brakes

Yes, it will be very costly, to buy each part.

Find a complete axle that has disk brakes, complete from one hub to other hub, including the radius arms, and lower coil mounting towers.
1978 -1979 Ford Explorer's and 1978 - 1979 Ford Bronco's have the dual shock setup.
If you come across one, get the dual shock setup hardware - Upper shock tower brackets and raduis arms and C-brackets. Also, including the lower coil mounts.
