The edge evo is awesome. I you can plug in your phone charger, you can install the Edge. You will love to drive your truck more than you do now once installed. I currently run the performance level and love it. You cannot go wrong with this purchase. Also, things to consider to allow the edge to perform at max, Magnaflow cat back system and a CAI such as K&N. Good luck

It definitly wakes the truck up. performance setting 93 oct. You will notice a difference, just read the forum. Mileage, not much of a change.

Any kind of intake by itself is pretty much worthless. On the other hand, if you couple it with an Evo and a dual exhaust system you would pretty much have a complete package for bolt on performance. If you don't like K&N you could also check out AEM and Volant. Volant is the only true cold air intake I have seen. AEM is pretty simple. It looks almost stock but it does have a much larger air intake tube. It also has a foam filter media that traps more dirt and doesn't lose air flow when it gets dirty. Discountpowerparts had them and thier prices are very good. I bought my EVO from them. CHeck them out! Plus they are a FTE sponsor.
AS far as the EVO..... AWESOME is all that can describe it. Fully adjustable, plus the gauges, plus the performance increase. I tow with mine on level 2. I towed without it also. I can definately tell the difference. It was worth every penny!

THe biggest restriction on the stock system is the intake tube. Although the new design is not half as restrictive as the old system. THe drop in is nice just for the fact that you can clean it and put it back in. True Flow has a drop in also. I had the K&N drop in n my Ex. I have not decided which way I want to go on the F-150 yet.

I found that I like the AEM Brute Force intake for F150's due to their intake tube, although Volant and S&B's are probably top of the line with the closed box design.

The Edge evo with an intake plus exhaust when you can make that upgrade will suprise you when you're driving.

Here's a few user comments at the bottom of our Evo page that address several aspects:

We also price match for the Evo and are a forum sponsor, feel free to message me for any questions.
