Wiper motor?

Can anybody tell me how to get the drive mechanism off an old wiper motor so that I can transfer it onto the replacement motor? Looks like it needs some kind of puller but nothing I have can get a grip onto it. There looks to be quite a bit of stuff tacked onto this thing. And of course, paying $60 for a new motor doesn't get you anything...all the new one has is a notched output shaft with a threaded hole.

This is for a '77 LTD, by the way. It looks to be a pretty standard 70's Motorcraft wiper motor. Thanks for the help.

I got the crank arm off today. I rented an adjustable jaw puller from Autozone and it did the job. However, now that I've got the crank arm off, I've flipped it over and found that the park tab is worn down to nothing and I need to replace it. Anyone have any suggestions? Nobody in town carries it, there aren't any Fords before 1984 in any junkyard within 100 miles, and no luck on eBay. If anyone has been in this spot before and got lucky with some source, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks!

I went to www.car-part.com, plugged in your vehicle and looked in Missouri, and got lots of hits. It will also give hints to other years that are a direct fit.
