97 4.6 running rich
I have a 97 F150 Off road with a 4.6 5 speed. I have changed the plugs, wires, coils, fuel filter and added a new true dual exhaust. I didnt use motorcraft plugs and wires, but the engine seems to run smooth at idle. When I put it under load (low rpms and hit the gas), it will misfire/backfire. I have noticed when its just idling, that its smooth, but running very rich. My gas mileage also has dropped from 18-22 mpg to 10 or less. What does this leave me to fix/replace? Injectors?
