Car Tag Prices

I may be moving to Iowa and I wanted to know how are cost of car tags determined.

Age of vehicle basically, and then the class in regards to truck, SUV, regular passenger car.Price wise, not too bad in comparison with some other states. Pretty easy to do, you have your title and license plates when you leave. At this point, truck tags are generally pretty cheap.
So where will you be moving to?

My wife has interviewed with Iowa State University, so we have looked at some houses in Nevada. I had hoped Iowa would be a flat fee state. Kansas is does about the same as Iowa, except I don't think the fees are cheap. Right now I pay $280 for a 2000 F250 supercab.

Well I Pay $65 for my 2000 F250, but the wifes expy is a lot more, seems like it was around $360 or so for a 2003 so if you have a SUV it's gonna cost but pickups are pretty cheap.

Nevada is a pretty good little area, my sister had some friends down to Shipley, south of town, from when she went to college out there. Keep us informed when youget moved, so then we can maybe hang out sometime. One of these days we'll get a meet together...
