Has anyone had any luck with the Ford Emergency Road Assistance program???
I have been trying to get reimbursed from a tow of my super-duty and 5th wheel since July and can't get a response from Ford. I thought this was what I paid for when I purchased the truck???
My understanding is that you call the 800 number and they dispatch assistance from their end. I used it when I had a Dodge diesel. They sent a wrecker to pick up my truck. I don't know about calling a wrecker and then trying to get reimbursed.

I think this is how it works... but I have never used this service though.
Does your insurance policy have tow coverage for re-imbursement?
It worked great for my '02 when I locked my keys in the truck. It took a couple of hours but, they dispatched a lock & key guy to the rural area I was in and he broke into her with no problem and no charge.
It worked out great for him as well . We were near a lake and he was towing his boat to go fishing....an opportunist to be sure.
Worked great for me when the #1 injector failed (for whatever reason) in my 05 PSD leaving me stranded on the side of the interstate. Called the 800 number and the flatbed was there in 30 minutes. The service even called me later on to insure I was satisfied with the driver, timliness, etc, etc... Pretty sure you need to call the 800 number though. I'm not sure whether you can make a claim after you call a wrecker or not.
I used the road side assistance a few times for my dually. The last time was in the middle of the desert with my boat in tow. I am being reimbursed for the tow, but I am finally getting a new truck and Ford are taking the 06 back under the Lemon law.
The responses I had from the road side was very good. It took a few hours to get to me out in the desert though.
hey bud i am a wrecker driver and i have towed my own trucks, which p's me off so i charge a bill, hey i paid for it too..... but i gave my bill to my service writer at the dealer and he took care of it,,,,,i got em to 20miles pain in the butt,,,,,,also this part pertains to you,,,,,,for roadside assistance sucks i do business with 9 road clubs, all the majors and miners and fleets you name it and it is the worst, non english speaking piece of junk there is, for instance my district managers phone that he never answers because his full voice mail, well thats been since 2005 early in that year, so i turn most of them down, also why should a towing company tow a one ton truck if that is what you have for the same price as a focus, since in my state you now have to have a cdl to tow a 1ton truck that you didnt need 2years ago, but as the customer that is not your problem and we understand that, but ill bet ford doesnt,,,,,ford does not equal common sense let me know if this helps,,,,,i might even have a better phone number if you would like private message me.........i referenced the cdl in ohio on this forum recentytowing any vehicle or trailer in ohio
