I'm sure this has been asked before. I got a 71 250 4x4 and I want to put the body on a 78 250 4x4 chassis. Both have leaf fronts. Are the frames the same, or am I going to have a headache?

The cab & front clip sheetmetal should bolt right up hole for hole. The bed hole may not. The chassis is also longer. Pete one of our regulars here has done it and says that you can fudge it out. The worst is that you might have to bob off the ends of the chassis rails.

box holes are in diff location--out farther--youll see the spot--and move the spacers in side the box rails out also--or crush box--the rad suppot bolts across--as does the front cab mounts--but the rear cab mounts are in diff spot--you see where also when you remove the seat---
