'56 Ford cab interchange

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-Oct-02 AT 03:37 PM (EST)]Will a 1956 Ford 1 ton cab fit upon a '56 Ford 1/2 ton chassis or frame and is there anything that I should be looking for as far as troubleshooting to make it fit?

Basically they are the same but the dash may have different controls or holes, usually for various PTO uses. My 1T has a dump hoist for instance along with hand throttle.
Doors are sometimes (factory)cutout for WestCoast mirrors.
