changing anti-freeze
1) Time intervals/milage?
2) Type of fluid..i.e., specific brand, chemical composition, etc?
3) How about special fluids like Royal Purple or Evans NPG?
4) Warranty or performance issues?

1) Change interval as per owners manual.
2) Type fluid is one meeting Motorcraft spec as in manual (currently Ford Gold).
3) I don't know anything about the Royal Purple.
Evans is good stuff, a little spendy but has great benefits, and all who use it rave about it.
4) Need to change fluids at a minimum of proper intervals as outlined in the manual to maintain warranty coverage and proper performance.
Hope this helps
Here is a link to the evans site with more info.

Evans is a superior product to ethylene glycol antifreeze, and was desigend for extreme applications. I am not sure if it carries any manufactures ratings as i did not see it listed on there site. I do know that GM worked with them early on to reduce cooling problems in the Corvette.
If you are the least bit hesitant about using Evans do to any possible warranty issues then i would say to stick with what the Manual lists.
Hope this helps
