I am puzzled, I have a 1997 5 speed, cc, duelly, 7.3 diesel.
I am changing the oil for the first time. I bought a fuel filter also, but there is no fuel filter or I am looking at the wrong place.
Please help.
Not sure about 97 but my 96 its in the center of the intake right about where the carb would be on a gas motor.
It has a round black plastic lid on it.
Its underneath some of the ducting for the air inlet.
The one I took out was nasty, does'nt look like it was ever changed. Guess they look like
that, a new one will do a better job of filtering I'm sure. With your advice I will carry a spare one too. Anyways, thanks johnguc
