summit exhaust
I was looking at stainless exhaust prices and summit has there own for 399. Does any one have this system on there truck or know any one. How does it sound and perform. Or just any in site on exhaust systems would be appricated.

Get a system like the AFE (were actually less money than what you listed) and you'll be much happier. The AFE has a real muffler and the Summitt has a hollow can that drones etc.

smokem, I did a summit 4 inch turbo back, and am pleased with it. It was a pain to install, 2 man job for the down pipe. i have 9k on it and it does increase the sound a bit. didnt do a lot for the milage, and I dont have gauges so dont know about the EGT.
The fit was good and the instruction were ok. You do have to remove to engine hoist bracket to install the 4" down pipe, allen wrench needed, or a 45 torx bit works, if I remember correctly.
