the 56 MERCURY sat rusting behind our barns for a lot of years (i didnt know what it was, smae as the TWO 69 cougar XR7's with it) and when we moved he came and took the 56 to another relative in armstrong (bout 20 minutes away), where, as far as i know, it is sitting outside rusting somemore. the box was pretty well gone on it, might have been able to save the cab, front fenders iffy, the hood was real nice, the tailgate was in mint condition and all the other emblems as well as hood where really nice shape. as far as i know the motor was just seized as well. and the Cougar was sitting in a barn near saskatoon on a farm and now its sitting outside as far as i know. maybe he sold it, not too sure. it had a balanced and blueprinted 302 with an automatic, i thought he said it had boss heads as well. would have liked to keep that as a high school cruiser, even over getting my 65 rustbucket....oh well
