Saskatchean Bronco Question

Hello again,

In my quest for a truck, I went to take a look at an 86 Bronco tonight.

302, auto, manual hubs and transfer case.

The body was kinda rough - wheelwell rust mostly. It was missing a few trim pieces, headliner was sagging and the console was missing.

My questions are:

1) What is this worth in Saskatchewan? 240k, the guy is asking $3400. It strikes me as being about $1k too much. Is that accurate?

2) Anybody know of a junkyard with a few Bronco's in it for spare parts? Are are they as rare as hen's teeth?

Thanks Everyone!

Ryan

Way too much cash, more like 2 grand too much. I can find you a way better deal on a bronco down here in bc for alot less. Theres one I know of with a little rust, 302 auto, its an 87, and teh guy wants a grand for it. I dont remember the km's on it though.

I have an 85 bronco i would like to get rid of. 302 efi, AOD automatic, 210 000 km, wheel well rust. New dual exhaust {2.225" vortec}, kinda loud but throaty, not like a bottle. Oh it is loaded too. I would like $1200 just because i have too many vehicles on the go and don't use it anymore. Where do you live?

According to his other post he is in Regina,$1200 sounds like a good price for your truck dale68merc.Buck's gets Bronco's every once in a while but I don't think they have anything right now.Another place to try would be Auto Return on 1351 McAra or TJ's on the service road on the way out to Ipsco, any of the other wreckers will probably charge too much.I would guess most of the mechanical parts interchange with the full-size trucks anyway.

That guy is asking too much for that truck. I checked my price guide on the condition you describe the truck should be about 1200.
Wierdale is north and east of Prince Albert. For what Dale has has done to it, it would be worth the 5 hour drive up to gat it. If that is what you are looking for.
Snowking has an 85 4x4 truck that he was asking 800 for and he has lifted the body on the frame. It was in the for sale parts at the top of our forum.

I actually checked a map and found out that I drive right through it every second week! Small world.

It's about 4 times the size of Shipman. Still small though, roughly 90-100 people in town. A lot of people surrounding it though.
