You got AC or just heat? The AC blower is in the box sticking out into the engine compartment. The heat only is the cylinder with two wires on the passenger's firewall. It could just be some leaves trapped in the fan. The hardest part is getting it out so if you do replace the motor and heater core at the same time. If you tell us which you have I bet someone has a picture.

Where is what located ? The heater fan ?
It is attached to the firewall.
There are 2 ways to test it.
One is at the resistor that is screwed to the plenum under the dash.
The other is to jump a wire from the positive post of the battery to the fan power wire on the firewall.

The plenum is the large plastic piece under the dash ..that directs the air created by the fan to where it has to go.
Ford's system ...place the resistor in an opening to the plenum so air flows by it to keep it from burning up.
bad resistors allow only fans to spin at high speed.
The resistor can been seem by looking under the dash..there is a wiring plug attache do it.

If you don't have the fan come on at any speed setting.
The problem is no power to the fan or the fan itself.
If the fan works at high speed or any other speed the problem is the resisitor.
I assume you have verified the fuse is good (not just a visual,, but a continuity test) ?
