Tire question

Hey guys;

I have an '02 F250 CC SB 4X4 and have recently changed the tires. I liked the originals it had (Firestone Steeltex) but they don't make them anymore. I was told that the replacement was the new Transforce AT. Since I have put these tires on I can not keep the truck going straight down the road. It wanders all over the place. It is worse on concrete and when pulling my 9K pound travel trailer. I have had the ball joints checked, the alignment is good and I am running the suggested pressures. I did not have this problem with the Steeltex tires. The local Firestone dealer where I bought them checked the front end and balanced the front tires, but said he could find nothing wrong with them.

I am about to just ask them to prorate the tires and put some other brand on and see if that helps. That really bums me out as they are virtually brand new.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Frank

Maybe one of the front tires is out of round and affecting the steering. Try swapping the front and rear tires and see what happens.

I have free rotate and balance on demand, so maybe I will try that.
