Install a TKO 5 speed with choice of OD ratios, a direct bolt up to a FE without adapter plus full pilot bushing engagement at the flywheel.
Compare TKO cost vs NV trans, adapter and time to make fit.
One member installed a TKO in his stroked FE Mustang, he's more than happy with the results, direct bolt in without hump modifications.
TKO 500 (torque) 3.27 1st .68 OD. TKO 600 (torque) 2.87 1st .64 or .82 OD.
