Well, I had a major junk yard find today that puts my Boss project almost at the finish line. As of right now, I only need calipers and rotors, coilovers, a new torque converter, electric fans, fuel pump and lines, exhaust, rack and pinion, and a driveshaft.
I already have a 1971 Boss 351 shell, new 5 leaf springs in the rear, 9-inch rear w/3.25 gears, Grigg's racing K-member (made to accept late-model A-arms) w/motor mounts for a modular motor, 96 Mustang dash and console, 98 Mustang floor shifter, 96 Mustang steering column, Sparco Evo 2 racing seats, 2000 Mustang master cylinder and booster, Griffin 3-row aluminum radiator, 2001 4r100, and a 2000 6.8L v10 with all wiring and accessories.
Today, I picked up A-arms and spindles off of a 98 Mustang at the local Pick Your Part, leaving just the coilovers needed to be able to allow the Boss to sit on its own wheels for the first time. It should be ready now by spring break. Finally.
This is the closest pick that I have. That's actually when test fit the v10 in my parts car (the 73 fastback) while the Boss was getting it's K-member put in at Grigg's racing in Sonoma.
Wow man you got a killer car bet you cant wait to finish and a V10 thats all out i love those rare boss 351's too bad the only made em for 1 year sweet project keep it up and have fun
