CD6 Audio Question

I recently traded my 04 FX4 SC in on a new 07 FX4 Super Crew. New truck has a 6 CD audio system and occasionally on start up with the audio system off it seems to shuffle the CD's, even if none are loaded. Does not do it every time. Everything seems to work OK but I cannot find any info about whether this is normal or not. Anyone elses CD act like this?

I have the 07 KR Screw and it does the same thing. I have no CDs loaded in it. I had the same audio in my 05 Lariat Screw and it didn't do the shuffle thing on start up.

Sounds like what it is doing is checking the changer for disks to keep its contents in memory. Probably a programming change from last model changer.

BTW, if any of you guys wanna replace that stock changer for an aftermarket system, I'm looking for one of those stock systems to replace my single cd model in my 2005 SD. Drop me a PM or email....
