Right now I am an electrician, but I am looking into getting my 1a, and I might drive truck for abit. I have done so many other things before too, welding, assembly, tire guy, the list goes on and on!

Stay in the trades guys.

Unless you are rich.

It's the only way to go.

You also make a lot of frends. (never could spell this word correctly )

Later then you can start your own business.

Also , once you have a trade, you are always able to find work.

Get your certificates and go from there.

Regards,
Larryjj

I dont agree the trades are the way to go. I mean theres nothing wrong with them, but right now driving truck makes a ton more money. I have driven truck before too first, its not bad at all. Im a guy that likes to work hard, and make alot of money while doing it. I figure since being an electrician is easy, and truck driving is easy, but pays more, might as well do that for awhile!

Thanks for the vote of confidence I just know there are a many of people out there that don't like gov't folk.

But I tell you, I sure goof up the "standards" of a gov't worker when I pull up to the office with my truck covered inside and out with mud.

Oilfield. I hear there is tons of cash in the long haul too though. Buddy from back home makes really good cash driving a water truck out in the rigs though.
