Registration

Going to get a 50 pick-up cab and want to put it on an 80's frame, what do you register it as??? Thanks

It depends on the laws in your state. If I had a choice I would register it based on the body for two reasons, no smog checks (none needed pre '74 in CA), and the body style is what everyone sees. You also may qualify for "historic vehicle" insurance rates if you do not commute to work in it.
