Ok, now that my dad knows Ive been wetsanding the paint he says you cant do that unless you put clear back over it. Where the heck do people come up with this crap?
He's probably thinking of the newer paints, when they put the clear over the base color(Stage II paint job), in which you would have been sanding off the clear and it would be a good idea to put a clear coat on it. However, these older trucks have a Stage I paint job, where the paint already has some clear in it to give it the gloss. It shouldn't hurt yours to wet sand, and obviously you dont even have any scratches, so congratulations and good job.
