Thanks for all replies.

There are a lot of aftermarket wheels out there. The 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern is used on all the Fords 3/4 & 1 ton, up to '97. Also used on Chevy and Dodge. You shouldn't have a problem finding something.

Ford trucks of that vintage with DRW use in-out coin wheels. I just went through all sorts of problems trying to replace the split rims on my 77 F350 dump. According to the salvage yards, the only years they used this style in a non split rim format was 77-82 (possibly a few years longer on E350s). I know someone aftermarket makes the steel ones because that's what everyone tried to sell me at $80 a pop (probably more than the truck is worth). Not sure what other manufacturers will interchange, just know you need the in-out coin style.

There are several makers of alloy wheels. Different styles and sizes. You may need to replace the lugs for longer ones, due to the thicker rims. I'd recommend the rims w/ steel inserts.

68-84 Ford F-350 used the lug centric DRW. In 85 they went to the hub centric wheels with the flat lug nuts. Dodge used the lug centric wheels up to the 90's. Do not mix the hub centric with the lug centric wheels. The hub centric will fit the older trucks but they will never stay tight and you will most likely break all the studs off.
