Hope you can help. I am fitting a set of Alloy (eagle) Dual Wheels to an F150 with an F350 rear end.
I obtained 2 steel wheels for the inners, and it seems that the Ford Steel Dullies have 4 raise lugs to lock into the corresponding Steel Wheels (outside)and for locating.
The Alloy Wheels look like they have holes for locating pins (as opposed to lugs). The lugs on the steel and the locating pins are totally different shapes.
Has anyone see or come across this problem before, and is there an easy fix ??
The pins are merely there so that when you install the wheels you are accertained of being able to access both valve stems. The hub centers the wheel on the axle, so the pins have no real function other than alignment. I've never heard of anyone having an incompatibility problem before, but I see no reason why you can't grind off the pins and simply take the 10 seconds to align the wheels yourself so you can reach the valve stems through the access holes.
