I'm trying to make a decision on what size lift to buy for my '06 F-350, it will be either a 4" or a leveling kit. If anyone has pics of their truck that I could see with either one of these lifts that would make my decision much easier, also what size tires are you running. Thanks

All I plan on doing is leveling the truck, front up a little bit. Spent lots of money on my last truck lifting it about 4'', and wish I never had. You lose a lot of drivability and just set yourself up for more/faster failures of other components. My 07 came with 33'' stock tires and I have pics posted in the galleries.
i think that 4" and 35's give the trucks a very nice lower stance opposed to a higher truck. i have a pic of a buddy that was with me last weekend with a f-250 that is leveled, on 35's.
1st thought........DITCH the ida of a 4"!! here's why.......
- the lift "BUG" will bite again, especialy after you get a taste of that first jump up! example, i STARTED with a 6.5" love the look and the tires i've ran under it in the past (39.5 IROK's being the best so far)! now that i've had that for a while.......i want to run 41's, and about anouther 3-4"!!
get you a good starting # FIRST (ie 6-8") that way when it comes time and that bug BITES again.......you will only have to go up alittle more from there.
or................
you could start w/ a 4.5" DR hanger kit up front, and a set of blocks in the rear. that way when it does bite again, you can order spring packs to compliment your other components!

that is the kit i'm looking at adding to my curent 6.5"! been looking for a used one actually, the NEW ones are a tad on the pricey side. but if i save up, and get enough for a new one, i'll have it on order ASAP!!
After seeing strokin_it7.3's friends leveled truck on 35's, my decision is to do a leveling kit with 35's. It's looks sweet, and I don't have to worry about having problems towing my 26' gooseneck with the rock crawlers. I do have a question for strokin_it7.3, what size wheels does your friend have? Thanks for all your input

his tires are 35x12.50x20. mine in the background are 37x14.50x20.
I have a three inch leveling kit and am running 315/70/17 BFG A/T's with 17x9 Moto Metal wheels 4.5 back spacing. If your thinking four inch do it, if you do the leveling kit you will wish youd gone bigger.
Do you think I could fit 35 x 12.50s BFG All-terrains on my stock 99 F250 SD V10 w/o a lift. I have 33 x 12.50s now. Im wondering how much rub I will get with the front tire and bumper with a taller AND wider tire? If not, what lifts look good with 35s. I don't want a lot of space between tire and wheel well, I want them to fit nice and snug w/o rubbing. BTW, Im riding on 16.5 x 10.5 Centerline rims, so no worries about 12.50s being too wide for stock rims.
