Cool Acceleration Problem

I have a 2004 6.0 FX4 F250 SD Crew Cab Short Bed Turbo Diesel. Lately when I am accelerating the engine will hitch as if the engine is not getting fuel, or the turbo intermittently quits. Has anyone experienced this?

Not very definitive...

Mileage? Preventative maintenance performed? Mileage since last fuel filter change? Recall/problem history? More details...

The fuel filter was changed 10k miles ago; the truck has 45k on it. I have the truck checked on a regular basis (I use it for work). In fact, I just had it in for a checkup and an oil change. I have had no problems with the truck prior to this. This issue had just started.

also pull your map sensor hose of the intake and make sure it is not stopped up.

Does this happen all the time, or just when it's cold? Could be injectors, my friend has gone through about 3 sets on his '04 with 75k.

No, it does it when it's warmed up. It happens intermittently (Rare but annoying).
I'll try the map sensor, thanks.
