Identify ignition power wire from key

I have a '86 F350 w/ 460 gasoline engine equipped with an ignition module on the driver's side wheelwell. I have followed the green wire back from the ignition coil to two green wires one of which goes to the module and the other goes to a eliptical shaped two prong connector from which a green with yellow stripped wire goes with the wire bundle through the firewall. Can anyone verify that this green w/yellow strip is the power from the ignition key? If it isn't correct which is the "power to the coil" wire?

Power is supplied via Red/Light Green (R/L G) wire from Ignition Switch to Batt (+) terminal of coil. In "Start", 12 volts directly from Ignition Switch Start Terminal. In "Run", voltage from Ignition Switch Run Terminal is dropped through the 1.1 Ohm Resistance Wire (also R/L G) that is part of the harness. Dark Green/Yellow Dots (DG/Y D) from Tach (-) terminal of coil to Tachometer in dash and to Dark Green Wire of Ignition Module. Ignition Module power is supplied from an Ignition Switch "Start Terminal" via The Red/Light Blue (R/LB) harness wire to the Module White wire. The same Ignition Switch "Run Terminal" that feeds the R/L G resistance wire to the Coil also provides voltage to The Ignition Module Red wire via a White/Light Blue Hash (W/LB H) wire in "Run".

I'm likely wrong but I thought the '86 460's still used Duraspark II. But, the above wire colors and functions should be the same.

what color is the ignition module where the wires plug into it? Blue is Duraspark II, but I need the book from the garage to give rest of colors. (color of module below where the wires go in)

Piffery1 & others,
After reading your reply I checked my wires and found that it only partly corresponds to your information. The module has a blue insert. There is a single solid red wire coming from the coil (as well as a tach green wire) to the first connector. There it connects with the large red w/ light green strip which seems to go direct to the firewall. Also as you indicated there are the two wires to the module, the red w/light blue strip and white w/ light blue strip. Is it possible that the start circuit is combined with the run circuit at the key or in the wire harness as it comes through the firewall? What is the function of the 1.1 ohm wire? Does it reduce the voltage to the coil? How much current can the start and run power supplies to the module supply?
I notice in the diagram from Mil1ion above there is a direct connection to the coil from the key that looks like the start and run wires are combined.
Does any of this make any sense? Thanks for your help.

Coil voltage during the start cycle should be 12 volts to aid in starting the engine.

once the key is moved to the Run position ....voltage to the coil drops to 8.5 volts because of the resistance wire . If it didn't,.... the coil would burn up.
