OK I give up!!!

Well i have had my 56 now for 4 years, between raising family and paying for a wedding in August and paying for another one next May I am giving up trying to complete it. I have around $5k invested in it but don't forsee being able to complete it for several more years due to financial obligations so I have decided to put it up for sale for $3800 to move it and count my losses. It is a project truck and would have to be trailered so if anyone is interested in all the details just contact me. I live in Indianapolis, thanks.
Dave

Have any pictures? Is it in decent condition for restoring or is it a major project? Interested in a trade? I have been thinking about getting rid of my Honda Foreman ATV and finding a project truck. I live about 4 hours from Indy in Ohio, so location is not a problem.

Put it in classifieds. Go to the top of the page and click "classifieds" then "place an ad."

You are not really supposed to put items for sale in the forums.

Sorry you are not able to follow through on your project.

Sorry to hear this. Ever think about "scaling back" the project? Get it running and stopping, put some good rubber on it and just enjoy it? Not every truck on the road needs to be a show truck. Alot of trucks lead happy, full-filled lives just running around town with a dog in the passenger seat.

This sounds like a good idea, to keep your project if possible. After selling my 53 and starting over wasting too much time and money.

Boy talk about bringing back the past. My first project was about 50% finished when both my girls got married. One 18 the other 19 plus my son was born what a surprise. Well money was tight so i sold my project always regreted it that was 16 years ago. Here i am starting over at 55 years old things are a lot harder to get done now not as spry and full of energy as i was back then and to think if i had kept the first project i could have been chasen parts it for the one i'm building now so think about it things change every day. Things could get better the day after you sell it. Whow now its already gone

Dave,
Fiddy six is so right. Not every truck has to be worthy of a trailer . Take a look at my old true "driver".

It is rough compared to the trucks of my other club members.

But I sure do enjoy it. It is a happy time when it is me and her cruising the roads. Matter of fact I have another cab and frame that I was going to do but shoot I don't have enough talent or money right now. So I am going to sell it to buy something for Ole Blue like maybe those thing from Keith in the post "Little off the top". I am from Ft Wayne. Let me know if you follow thru with selling I would like to see it. Best wishes whatever you decide
