I don't know if this is out there free or not, but I'm getting into playing around with stuff and would love to find an actual dimensioned CAD file that shows parts for the super duty pickups. Specifically, grilles and bumpers. Anyone know where I might look?
Right now the program I have is SU which isn't really CAD but it can convert it sufficient for the playing around I'm doing.
Thanx ReAX. I didnt find exactly what I wanted, but I finally got an owners manual 5 years after the fact, lol. That site has some decent links if you nose around long enough to figure out how to find stuff.
I did find a POC to email and did so, so we'll see if that produces any results.
I'm looking because I want to mess around with designing my own bumper and grille. That way, even if I'm not the guy welding the bumper, I can give him a CAD file. Having a stock file just ensures that I'm keeping tabs on parameters while I move pieces around.
The grille idea I'm talking to an injection molder again Monday.

If you've seen the Intl commercial truck grilles, chrome, vertical slats, big endless highway badge at the top. Recreate that as a direct replacement for a PSD. Kind of different, but I bet you'd sell 30 or 40 in a run on ebay pretty quick if you can keep the pricing reasonable.
If you do find those files make sure you post them up!
Something like that is good to have tucked away, you never know.
As far as CAD programs go if you look around you can find copies. I did find one a while ago when I took a class on it but lost it when my computer crashed. I haven't realy looked again. I don't know if this will get blocked but remember most file sharing sites do more than mp3's!!
