Help! 75 F-150

The truck starts when you turn the key, when you let go it stalls. It has a new fuel system in it. No none or obvious vacuum leaks. please can anyone help.

You are not getting power from the run position of your ignition switch to the coil. The coil is getting power from the starter solenoid while in the start position.

Put a meter or testlight on the + of the coil, and see if what subford said is true. If you are not getting voltage in the run position, and it turns out to be the wire from the switch to the coil +, do not replace it with regular wire unless you install a large white ballast resistor inline to the coil.

The factory wire from the switch to the coil + is a special resistance wire for the ignition system.

When you install one of those white ceramic ballast resistors (I usually use two in series) use special crimp on wire connectors available from appliance repair shops made for heater connections. They are made of a special high temp alloy. Regular crimp connectors will soften, corrode, and fail quickly when exposed to the heat from the ballast resistor.
