If you want a Lightning, why not go with that? Factory supercharger, tough looks and factory warranty. What's the diff?

If the Adrenalin was cancelled, what the hell is SVT doing? Yeah, the Shelby Cobra, that's great, but is that it? SRT has all kinds of vehicles out right now, why can't SVT keep up? Is Ford just cutting them at every turn or they can't keep up? By the way, what was the reason for cancelling the lightning in the first place?

hey, i am quite the lightning fan also, i heard a long time back (around about 3 months ago) that ford was tinkering with the lightning production again, they pretty much took a done-up SRT 10 and took the new F-150 reg cab with the stepside box, and said we gatta make this ( f-150) beat this(SRT10). i heard they threw the V10 outta the GT 40 and super charged it and a 5 speed atuo tranny... it got something like 600hp at the tires... but i seen in the one magazine, Ford Performance Trucks, Cervini Atuo Designs made a kit you can buy for the new F-150 to make it into what ford stopped. there are 2 kits, the first one is the CT-1000 kit which is just the body kit and tauno. then there is the CT-5000. it comes with a super charger and everething to give it 420hp at the tires, look at the website and you will like what you see. as of ford bringing it back looks like a maybe, but the kit is the closest thing as of right now man.
