Mich LTX M/S for tires - great all around with plenty of traction - got 89K out of my last set and they have a nice ride. My new set of 4 ran $740. last July.
Search this forum for the location of the tap you need.
If you are looking for a "HOT" lead to trip a relay to turn them on with the parking lights...use the brown wire heading from the headlight switch. On an '05 the switch is popped out from the front.
Since I do not know exactly what you are trying to do...I'll assume the worst. Please excuse me if I am going too simple.
I installed the factory foglight kit in my '05. They are powered directly at the battery...and a relay turns them on and off via a trigger as mentioned above. There is another relay that turns them off with the hi-beams. I do not have that wire color in memory but could look it up for you.
Also, switch the bulbs in the fogs to 9005s...you'll be glad you did.
Hey seed guy if you're from the west coast then I'd suggest that you try Les Schwab for your tires.. I have been using them for years for all my needs, well most anyway, and have always been very happy with the service and the product...
