I've got a 93 E350 non-turbo and I used a 1/4” drive deepwell socket, universal joint, and an extension (about 4" or so) and a ¼” breaker bar and ratchet. Don’t forget a small mirror for the number 2 hole. I haven’t done it yet but I was going to cut the deepwell socket back the next time so it was just a little longer than needed for the glow plug. You should be able to get around the injector lines with this setup. Before you pull the plug clean around the area, I poked around with a small screwdriver to loosen any scale then blew it out with an air hose. When installing the plugs put some high-temp anti-seize on the threads. Last but not least use only Motorcraft/Beru glow plugs.
