What did I do wrong??
I thought things were going great and now everything is come crashing down on me. I met this girl and we had dinner and watched movies at her place. I thought it was worth starting a relationship with her. Now today she tells me that we should get to know each other more before we move too far with it.

Where did I go wrong? This is the second time my heart has been broken. I know I should get to know her, but I'm afraid she won't talk to me now.

The ONLY way to handle a situation like this is to say "Okay, let me know when you're ready" and WALK AWAY or HANG UP without another word. Anything else is just wastin' your breath.

OK - hope it works out for you! If it happens again, you'd be surprised at how well the "Bye, see you" works just by the expression on her face when she's expecting an arguement.

It seems everything is going smoothly again. She talked to me on AIM and we started asking each other what our interests are. It was probably more of my fault for what happened, but she said she felt bad about it too. I like this girl but I was moving too fast.

It was both of our falts for moving too fast without getting to know each other first. I am glad she didn't say get the **** out of my life.

She got that mad at you for dinner and a movie? That's not anything unusual- maybe a little too fast for the first date, but not in my opnion.
I actually don't know what to tell you other than give it a few weeks of talking and try it again. If she doesn't come around then, maybe you should both move on.

She really didn't get that mad about the dinner and a movie. It was the days following the first date. I went to her house almost every day. I haven't been to her house for about 3 days now. I asked her to accompany me to a banquet I am attending. I just hope she would like to go. The cost is $20 a person, but I'll pay for her's and mine. Right now all we're doing is talking.

I'll keep you guys informed on what happens. Monday night when I came out of work to start my truck she was up their standing by my truck putting a note on it. I looked at the note and she was just saying hi and was bored in that end of town. It's a sign to me she likes me.
