So I picked up some TT mirrors and went through all the steps to remove the old paddle style ones. WTF?!? The ones I bought do not fit? I was not aware of fitment issues before buying these. I have an 02 F250SD. The studs on the new mirrors are not even close to the locations of my stock mirrors. Anybody know what can be done here? http://good-times.webshots.com/photo...98417833vqSbDi
Your first clue might have been the cover exterior shield was no where near close to the same layout as the TT mirrors. Just taking of the interior cover would have confirmed the mismatch.
I have a suspicion that those are *E*250 towing mirrors. Thus the narrower profile to the exterior shield.
Right on, Brother. I went back to the fella I bought them from and got my $$ back. Then I went to the dealership and paid $460 to have it done. What a PITA.
