What years did they use the clip in hubcaps? Not the ones that clip on the outside.

Just called Mac's Antique Auto Parts to ask for ya. There are tech people there Mon-Fri that know; unfortunately the woman there on weekends was unsure, even after researching a part # (stainless stell wheel cover for '48-'56 with Ford lettering, part # 21AS-1130-SS, $25). She recommended calling back Mon-Fri 8a-7p EST: 1-800-777-0948 and asking a tech person to make absolutely certain.
