ABS issue

I am getting a C1230 code which is "Speed Wheel Sensor Rear Center Input Circuit Failure". Now since it only trips this code when moving, I would assume that it is a wheel sensor crapping out, but I don't understand why I didn't get a fault for a specific wheel....hense, I am probably wrong in my assumption.

Does anyone know where to look for this problem? I also sometimes get pedal pulsing when I hit the brakes in reverse if that clue helps. I don't show any other codes (I am using AutoEnginuity), just the C1230.

I think it's the VSS that you need to replace. The sender on the top of the rear axle.

Got mine from Napa.. they call it a ABS sensor, p/n530780.. $10.49. Easy to replace. Good Luck..
