Ron Francis wireworks... DEFINITELY!!! Particularly if you're going to rod it out later. They also have all the creature comfort add-ons that are compatible with their wiring harnesses, etc.

Hi whitehatguy44 and hot1958,
Welcome to FTE! This is the best place to be. I hope you stick around, and I look foward to hearing more about your projects.
I would recommend EZwiring.com harness due to the fact of price, it is just as good as a painless or ron frances...save the money and still get what you want...why pay a lot when you can use that extra money for more parts....

"If its not a Ford, then why buy or drive it!!!!!"
If you are going to rod the panel anyway this is the way I did
my 54 panel. I removed the complete Engine, wiring harness, steering collum, alternator, headlight switch from a 80S FORD car, untaped the whole thing and mounted the fuse box in the kick panel.Using the FORD collum, alternator& headlight switch made it easy. Some wires had to be lenghten/shortned and some feeds from the fuse block were not needed
the headlight switch bolted in.I routed the wires using clips I removed from the car. Then I retaped the whole thing.I ended up with
a all ford harness with quality parts with plugs that FIT.Also saved
a few bucks.
