Leaf Spring?

I have a 1990 F-250 extended cap and a long bed so it is not the smoothest riding truck out there but I was wondering if my leaf springs might be bad, my truck has over 350,000 miles on it and im on original springs.

Do they go bad?
Should I buy new ones or should I pay to have someone re- arc them would that help?

I have tried numerous shocks and it makes little to no difference. The truck just hits every bump like a brick wall. I have the rancho 9000 series shocks right now and have tried every adjustment but no luck

I'm in the truck as the original poster. Potholes and pavement ridges rattle the hell out of my truck. I'm thinking that the springs are probably bottoming out on the axle bumper. This was a desert truck until two years ago, so there's no rust to speak of. It was used to haul roofing supplies up and down mountains, so the springs may have simply worn out.

How does one tell if the springs need to be replaced? Is there a measurement or general observation that an experienced person will take to make a decision on whether or not to replace springs?

Thanks,

Tom
