Mike, if you don't get info here on your '34 flathead, you might try over at fordbarn.com - they have a bunch of guys with working knowledge of the oldest flathead V8s. Might also look into the early ford V8 club - should be able to find it with a google.com search. fordbarn might even have a link.

I'm not trying to steer you away from here - hope you stay and contribute - but it sounds like you're going to need a variety of info that is easier to find on those early V8-specific sites.

I run a '48 F1 as my daily driver. I've got a couple of earlier engines - a '36 LB and a '37 that had a rod go thru the oil pan. I'll look and see if I can find the info on temp senders you need, but without a car or truck I'm just guessing.

Thanks Tim , My Flathead is in a Tank , yes a tracked vehicle, ( 1942 Mk1 Universal carrier). The1942 engine was taken out and replaced with a Rebuilt 34 engine 5 years ago, I tryed other forums on my vehicle but thier mostly on the vehicle itself , V8 is totally differant item. I seen the Flathead fourum with all the specs but no luck , I know on the 1942 Flatheads the sensors were in ware the water inlets attach , But my engine with the water inlets/pumps up front I have know clue ware the sensor goes. I'm a Newbe Novice regarding engines, But restoring a Military armoured vehicle(ww2 mostly) it's a sinch. Thanks for answering my question.
