Oh Oh ! You have a 79.

What are the last 6 digits of the VIN#?

It will be either:

FT-46
or
FT-39

From or Pre DJ-0001

yes it is a 1979 bronco and the last 6 digits are ea3947 and will this be a bolt up no mods brake booster thanks Rod

Then you need the FT-46.
This number is stamped on the pushrod..and any parts house should be able to cross-reference this number.

This booster below is from a post DJ-0001 truck.
Notice the unique design of the push rod and the round housing that mounts thru a hole in the firewall.Everything is a positive actuation.

The earlier one is more of a fulcrum system.

FYI, The post DJ-0001 booster mounts entirely different than the pre-DJ0001 built trucks.
