No not really. Pre 98, ford didn't have a six lug wheel, only 5 and 8. Now chevy dodge and ford all had 8 lug by 6.5 wheels on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks.
Older model dodges and Jeeps had the 5x5.5 bolt pattern that matched the 1/2 fords. I want to say isuzu or some company like that had some vehicals with 5x5.5 also.

Nope, they changed the bolt pattern on the 8 lugs with the introduction of the 99 Super-Duty,,, Go ahead and ask me how I know!! I bought some Mickey Thompson Challenger Rims for my spankin new 99 Super-Duty F-250 4x,,,,,, problem was they were 8 on 6 1/2, the new Ford Bolt pattern on my 99 is 8 on 170mm, yep that is right FRICKIN MM's, metric BS. But on the 5 bolt Fords, they changed those with the 97 F-150 new body style, they both (8 and 5 lug) are really close to the old, but it no workie! Put the Mickey Thompsons on my 79 F-350 4x I had at the time
