I wanted to thank you all for your insight and opinions. I picked up my new F150 on Friday. I've been looking forward to this truck for a long time, and I can honestly say that I'm even happier than I thought I would be. You'll get to see the truck once I figure out how to post some pics.
Thanks again!
Congrats on the new truck. You'll enjoy it. I can't imagine not having mine now. Like I've said before, I'm an old GM guy that's seen the new Ford light.
Awsome glad that you are happy with your ford, I also could not imagine not having my truck. Dont think I ever could go back to a car or SUV, there is just something about having a truck.
wyo351, Welcome to the family. The purchase was the easy part. Now try to purchase all the goodies available for these awsome trucks. As Saturday night live would say " Debby Downer ".
Yeah, there is a lot of stuff out there. I like to keep aftermarket to a minimum; clean, stock lines are what I like. I think at the most I'll do is a programmer and exhaust, maybe intake too. I know a lot of people like the edge system, but I don't like the idea of something on my dash that isn't stock. As for exhaust and intake, I need to do a little more research on that.
I've had it for about a week now and I love it. Got some snow the other night so I got to use 4Hi, so I was happy. I have to travel for work now, so I don't get to drive it for a while. Oh well, maybe the travel time will give me a chance to start surfing the web for some mods for it.
