I just received my second re-call notice for Engine Control Recalibration. Has anyone had this done? If so, what were the "goods" & "bads" of it? I am a firm believer if it ain't broke, don't fix it. My truck has 37,000 miles on a 6.0, runs perfect and gets great mileage. I don't see any point in messing with something that runs perfect. Thanks in advance.

Reason: Forgot to mention engine size.
I had the first calibration done but so far not the second....alot of people had mileage & power go to the dogs after 2nd re-calibration...I'd leave it alone until it's mandatory....

If he takes it in to any Ford dealer for service and declines the recall, he can have his warranty voided if a problem arises. TSB's are suggested fixes to a known problem. Recalls are for problems that affect safety.
The warranty is no problem. I talked with the dealer and the recall is good as long as I own the truck. One more thing. The rubber seals on the bottom of my doors on my 05 crew cab leak like hell. I've always got mud inside the doors and the cab. Anybody else have this problem? Thanks
