Hey guys just a quick question i have a 1985 F150 4x4 and i came across a sight that a few guys have the clear Altezza tail lights but icant seem to find out where they got them does anyone know where a guy could find them for my year of truck thanks in advance
Most people use the 1987 to 1996 style Altezza type taillights cause they will bolt right up with no mods.
However it is wise to check with your DMV from your state. Some states do not allow certain taillights of this type, even if it is DOT (Department of Transportation) approved. Oregon is one such state. If it requires a "red bulb" to shine red, it is illegal in Oregon. In Oregon, Taillights MUST have a red lens and clear bulb.
In California, they must be DOT approved with the appropriate reflectors and lenses.
